Simple answer: yes we are.  Long answer: we are fully insured under Hiscox Business Liability Insurance for our industry.  You are more than welcome to request a copy of our insurance declaration if you need further information.

How far Around St. Louis Will MobileNerd Travel?

MobileNerd will come to most locations in and around the STL area.  We cover North County, out west to O'Fallon, down through Chesterfield Valley and around through Sunset Hills in South County.  Please feel free to call 314-448-0662 anytime to confirm whether we are available for mobile computing service.

How Much Does Your Service Cost?

A.

Obviously we have to keep the lights on, but we are extremely competitive when it comes to our pricing.  We charge a flat rate of $50/hr for the first hour and $40/hr for every hour after that for residential calls.  For small business support we charge a flat rate of $70/hr. If we can't fix your problem we don't charge you a dime!  Some problems require us to take your computer with us in which case we will only charge for the job and not for two trips.  Check out our pricing section here.

In a simple answer YES!!!!  It is a well known fact that Nerds are much more competent than Geeks.  Geeks have their merits, but when it comes down to the nuts and bolts- Nerds have the upper hand!

How Long Will It Take To Fix My Computer?

We strive to get your computer/problems resolved as soon as we can.  If we cannot fix your problem on site, we have a 24 hour turn around policy and will do everything we can to get your problem resolved in that time frame.

Do You Offer Any Kind Of Training?

We are happy to sit down with anyone and train them in the basics of Windows Operating Systems as well as in Microsoft Office Products.  We are also happy to answer through lists of questions you may have building up in your head about your computing experiences.  We can explain things in "Non-Nerd" language and help you understand how to get the most out of your computer.

What If My Computer Needs A New Part And You Don’t Have It?

If your computer or device needs a new part and we don't have it on hand, we will not charge you for the trip to get what is needed.  You only pay for the time we spend at your location.

Can You Come Live With Us For A Week?

A.

We get this question quite often.  MobileNerd is happy to come out and be there for you when needed, but we can't live on site and be your personal Nerd for more than a day.  You have to be willing to share the Nerds with your Saint Louis neighbors.
